I think CD(audio) are cheaper now than the were when they came out. I pay, on average, about $10-12 dollars for a new CD now, and I was paying $14-16 when they first came out. Right now, to my knowledge only Phillips produces these disks, and with more competition, price should come down. But alas, I do not own a crystal ball, so mguesses are no better than anyone elses! :) 2) For those not familiar with CDVideo: This discussion is centering around the Phillips CD-I CDVideo format. CD-I is a system available for hooking up to your TV/Home Entertainment System. To this netters knowledge, there are NO feature length movie systems available for CD ROM, but we are merely discussing/asking if anyone knows of developments in the field. How difficult might it be to build the hardware to read these disks? If anyone knows more, please post! Also, does anyone have the specs for the CD-I machine? Or pointers to such info?
