I haven't noticed it myself in those games, but more than likely it's a combination of low-grade 8-bit recording and perhaps interference from another device. Try turning the volumne down on your sound card and using external amplification, if possible. But mostly I think it's lousy 8-bit original recordings. I notice it on my collection of talking Syracuse language CDs. S/ /M
