I didn't see the original post but it sounds like the problem I had: I could 
play the sounds and music for everything BUT the national anthems. It turned 
out that I had all the Soundblaster drivers installed EXCEPT the MIDI driver. 
So try re-installing your drivers. Put the disk with the drivers in, in Drive 
A; start up control panel and click on "drivers" then on "unlisted or updated 
driver", then on "add" and add all the drivers. You might get a message 
saying "a version of that driver exists, use new or current?" (or something 
like it). I replaced all the existing drivers just to be certain. It worked 
for me.
