So any SAM>program (CD or disk based) that constantly reads new information in the SAM>buffer won't see much increase in speed. If you're constantly moving back SAM>and forth between the same sets of menus, however, you'll be amazed at the SAM>difference it makes. That's considering you're processing all data at read speed.If the processing takes more than a second for 150k(I'm considering a 1x speed drive), then the read-ahead can improve speed very much...
