It is recognized by Adaptec software as a AHA1510 adapter. That is
a low performance card.
It is good for CDROM, magneto-optical drives or slow removable
devices.
But it is a bit slow for connecting a high performance HD.

Be carefull that EZ-SCSI V2.X doesn't recognize MO drives, only
any hard-drives, most of CD-ROMS, Syquest and Bernouilli.
