Agreed.  This guy must have subscribed and posted the same day.  No
other explanation for picking on Kirk, one of the more reasonable
advertisers around.  Whatever happened to the idea one should read
the FAQ and listen to the group at least two weeks before posting?

This is a widespread misunderstanding.  For some of us, pressing the
'K' button (or whatever) skips reading the post, but our long distance
phone bill has already been hit by downloading the article.

I have no choice, except receive a newsgroup, or don't receive it.  If
I receive it, I pay for it.  So I object to the overlong full catalogs
especially (and on principle I do not buy from those advertisers).

I could use a kill file.  However it involves sufficient extra processing
that I am online for longer than it takes to receive the whole group
(unless killing a very high proportion of the traffic).  The only answer
is responsible posting.  Please.
