I just got some more questions. I bought the Adaptec 1542c controller and a Toshiba SCSI hard drive. Both of these two things said they can have 10MB/s transfer rate. However, when I try to set up the card to support 10MB/s and reset the computer to accept the change, it just hang right the way and I can only go back to the 1542c setup and change it back to 5MB/s. Does anyone know what it does not support 10MB/s transfer rate. Second question. I am planning to buy a cd-rom with the SCSI SB16. I just got a bundle price from a company. They sell the new Toshiba 4101 cd-rom and the SB16 SCSI. I just wonder does anyone know whether the new Toshiba 4101 cd-rom is a great cd-rom or there is a better one with about the same price? I can get this bundle for $Cdn 580. Third question. If I really bought that bundle, should I connect the cd-rom to the controller card or just connect to the SB16 SCSI? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Roger Leung (Wat) 270 Westcourt Place (Tor) 5 Duxbury Drive (Wat) (519) 886-7554
