We've been using the Mitchel Auto Repair CD-ROM set for years now, but
recently we got a Pioneer multi-changer CD-ROM drive so we could run them
all off the same drive (we'd been running them one-at-a-time on a single CD
drive). Surprise! It turns out that the Mitchel software cannot be run off
a mutli-changer - apparently you can't designation individual drives for
each disc. I think it's pretty incredible that any current multi-disc
CD-ROM product would be incompatible with something so standard as the
CD-ROM multichanger, but apparently Mitchel isn't! Has anyone else had
this experience? The Mitchel people say they are "looking into" "possibly"
updating their software to accomodate multichangers, but who knows when.
I'm not a "techy" person, but it seems to me that a re-write of
the config.sys might designate paths for each CD, but I don't know...
        Any ideas?
