I need help. I have the Panasonic 562B attached to a SBPro,
and I am using the drivers I downloaded from CompuServe,
version 4.04. These work fine, basically, although for some
strange reason MPC Wizard shows the access times and transfer
rates to be a little ridiculous (3ms, 4000 kbytes/sec) with
smooth Video for Windows at 300 kbytes/sec.

HOWEVER, I have trouble with two DOS-based CD's, Sherlock
Holmes Vol. II and Mixed-Up Mother Goose, unless I switch to
the driver version 4.03 which came on a disk with the drive.
The problem with this driver is that MPC Wizard reports the
drive to be able to transfer data at no more than 270
kbytes/sec under a 60% load, and Video for Windows loses frames
at the 300 kbytes/sec test.

What to do?
