CDR101 message Message-ID: Sender: usenet@mail.auburn.edu (Usenet Administrator) Nntp-Posting-Host: puck.lib.auburn.edu Organization: Library, Auburn University, Auburn AL USA Date: Wed, 2 Mar 1994 15:52:19 GMT Lines: 18 I hope that there is someone out there who can help me figure out what to do about the message _CDR101: Not read ready drive D_. The cd-rom workstation that has started giving me this message had been working fine until this weekend. It's daisy chained with 4 Hitachi CDR-1503s, using MS-DOS CD-ROM Extensions Ver. 2.1 with MS-DOS 5.0. The software loads fine, I access the drive and then try a dir command. It talks to the player, then comes back with the error message. Things I have tried: replacing the board, cable, and player. Reloading the extensions software. Cleaning the disc and the player. Calling technical support for SilverPlatter and Microsoft. I have tried everything I can think of (more than once) and can't get help on a local level. I'm hoping that one of you has succeeded where I have failed and I might learn from you. Respond to me: dthorne@lib.auburn.edu Thank you in advance.
