The speech on LM is sometimes cut off. Although the music carries on. 2. While running the complete new start option on JMP (to show the complete introduction) I got a 'Sprite' error (??). SO I started it again with immediate game start got into the game, thought it had hung 'cos the movements are slow, accidently pressed Esc and the game ended. By this time it was 2 AM and so (yawn) ...... I played DOOM instead, see how those Barons die!! But seriously, my system config. is :- 486DX2 66Mhz, 8 Mb RAM, Cirrus SVGA graphics card, Panasonic 562B internal drive (I've got /M:20 /V /E on the MSCDEX.EXE line), SB Pro sound card, 4096K of expanded mem, 615K of conventional memory. In addition, Wing Commander 2 (CD version) also has the same speech problems but the digital speech on XWing is fine. My thoughts are:- for LM : the SB board is on IRQ5 - I heard (read?) that I should try using IRQ7 for speech probs. for JMP : free up more disk space and create a larger permanent Windows 3.1 swap file. Well, this is what I'll try but if any of you have any other ideas PLEASE let me know. Thanks in advance.
