The README suggestions for the PAS 16 helped the performance. It's my first CD ROM game so it's hard for me to review. It's certainly no DOOM. In particular I found it a little slow. If you get a theory you want to try out it takes a long time to move to another place on the island. However, My wife found it a bit strange that I still wasn't dressed at noon on a Saturday... My seven year old daughter didn't know it was for adults and started playing. The interface is very easy. She found the background music a bit scary. I'd say eerie. A lot of the puzzles involve combinations or codes. They may be different enough to keep up my interest. It's a very involving and time consuming game. They include an envelop of hints as well as a book offer for hints. If I can get on the computer after my daughter goes to bed maybe I can find the combination. All I have to do is rotate the tower and ... I let you know what I think in about 100 hours. I'm sure the Mac heads can give you a good review.
