Hi, there,

I have a Gateway 4DX2-66V equipped with an LMSI (Philips) CM 205
CD-ROM drive which is connected to Sound Blaster 16 ASP, by a
proprietary interface.

I will be installing UnixWare 1.1 on this system. Apparently
there are two options to make the CM 205 work under this
"new" unix: get the drivers for the CD-ROM drive or convert
it to a SCSI device.

Unfortunately I have no idea where to find the drivers
(assuming they even exist) nor do I know how to make the CM 205
into a SCSI compatible. (Do I need a special adapter card?)

Does anyone out there knows anything about my "problem" ?
I will be extremely greatful for all the help I can get.

Thank you.
