I recently purchased "The Secret Of Monkey Island" for my eight year old. 
He is having trouble getting past the guard dogs at the governor's mansion. 
Does anyone have any hints?  He likes the game but is getting a little
frustrated.  Also, if you have additional hints, please send them along.  I
could provide them to him as needed (not all at once).  After all, he should
try to solve the puzzles first.
