The question needs to be clarified. What level of ISO 9660 conforming 
media are you attempting to read? What level of system compliance do you 
wish to require for the reading softaware?

ISO 9660 has 3 levels of media conformance and 2 levels of system 
conformance. Make sure the software you get specifies which levels it 
conforms to and verify that those meet your needs.
