Well I play audio CDs on my Orchid CD-ROM using a Gamewave32 and a pair of
active speakers. The sound is unbelievably good. If you plan to do this a lot
the Orchid is a good choice as you get play/skip buttons on the drive, no TSRs
to load. The soundcard is not absolutely necessary as you can plug the speakers
into the headphone jack.
