I have the same drive hooked up to an EISA BusTek 742A SCSI HBA using
BusLogic ASPI and CDROM drivers and have no troubles reading the Kodak
disk nor does the machine have any problems running the Photo CD
s/w.  So I doubt the problem lies in the CDROM drive...
