Message-ID: Lines: 43 Sender: news@newshub.ccs.yorku.ca (USENET News System) Organization: Calumet College, York University Distribution: ALL Date: Fri, 25 Mar 1994 18:51:29 GMT Hello Again. I apologise for the previous survey - it was my first time. In no way do I mean to waste your time and insult your intelligence. Here then, is a focused version of what I posted previously. I want to find out if there is a market for adventure games among adults. What I mean by 'adventure game' is any game that is based primarily around puzzle/problem-solving in a fantastical setting (this can include anything from "Myst" to "Hellcab"). I ask for specific information about you because I think it is important to determine an audience in order to make something that is relevant to them. I do not wish to default to the image of the young white male computer user. Overall, I think this is an important topic, and you might as well. If so, please feel free to fill out this short survey and send it to my email address (sreese@calumet.yorku.ca). I would be happy to post results later. DO ADULTS PLAY ADVENTURE GAMES? I. ABOUT YOU: 1. Your Age 2. Your Sex 3. Your Race and Nationality 4. The Type Of Computer System You Own 5. The Average # Of Hours You Spend Per Week Playing Games II. WHAT DO YOU THINK? What is your favourite type of game (give a few examples)? Do you like or dislike adventure games, and why? In your opinion, what is the best game you have ever played, and why? Do you think there is a an adult market for adventure games? That's it. I greatly appreciate any responses. Thanks for your time, Stephen Reese 94/03/25 1:50 PM
