I have : tried setting the CDROM to LUN 0:ID 3, block size 512, parity on (to match : controller) and both transfer rates but the controller says "Error locating : SCSI device". The CDROM with power supplied loads the caddy, green light comes : on, turns red when the controller looks for it and ejects the caddy with : no problem. Just in case the CDROM had no resistors I daisy chained a : hard drive to the end of the cable which has resistors and is set to 0:0. : The machine will boot off the hard drive fine but when I run AHAUTILS : it says the same thing "Error locating SCSI device". I doesn't even : find the hard drive. The computer is an older Micronics 386dx-20. : Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
