I've been playing Myst (*a lot*) since I bought it two weeks ago, and it is simply the most amazing game I've ever seen. I've never experienced anything like it! My only complaint is, that after running the program for ~1 hour or so, the program starts accessing my hard drive excessively. The game then either begins to crawl, or hangs the computer completely. I had a huge Win swap file (about 19 Meg) before I called Broderbund tech support. They were certain that dropping my swap file size to about 10 Meg would fix this problem. (Something about a known Microsoft bug, etc...). Well, this fix didn't help my problem much at all. Instead of waiting on hold for tech support again, I thought I'd see if anyone here has conquered similar problems. BTW, I'm running Myst on a 486-66 w/ 2x Mitsumi CD, 8 Meg RAM, SB16 Any help would be appreciated! Jerry Johnston jjjohnst@indiana.edu
