Well, I'd definetly recommend GK over the 7th guest. I found T7G ratherr boring
I especially like the setting of the game, it's set in present day Mew Ortleans
(forgive the typos, but I can't backspace or delete). I get bored with all the
computer games that are all the D&D, pseudo-medieval stuff. Tge voices are thw
only thig you get extra with the CD version, and I don't know that they are
worth the extra $. The southern accents are terrible. They should have gone or
native New Orleanians, surely there's got to be some good actors down there.
But I think they just wanted big names to put on the outside of the box. Leah
Remini and Micheal Dorn are good, but the narrator and TIm Curry overact to
ridicuous extremes, and the less said about Mark Hamill the better. Yuck! And
many of the peopel have innapropriate accents (the guy playing chess in the
bar, for example... why does he have a New York Jewish accent? He's supposed to
be from New Orleans!)
I haven't played MYST, but given all the problms people have reported with it,
I wouldnt go for it.
But that's just my opinion.
