Library Automation Specialist

A self-directed computer professional, who manages, coordinates,
plans, develops, implements, and monitors all Polytechnic University
library automation applications and systems.

Individual will instruct library staff; supervise designated student
employees; and coordinate all hardware, operating systems, and data
exchanges with the University's Information Systems Department.

Required skills / experience must include the installation,
implementation, and management of :  LANs and Wide Area Networks using
TCP/IP on the Internet; Novell LANs with full knowledge of IPX; and
applications running under DOS, Windows, and Unix operating systems.

Excellent English verbal and written skills including the ability to
teach effectively required.  CNE and Library automation experience and
knowledge desirable.

Salary $40k.  Tuition remission.  Computer provided for working at home.
