However, I need to still be able to use my Panasonic CD-ROM (I don't want to lose my investment trying to resell this CD-ROM drive and get a SCSI drive or whatever) Since I have sold my SoundBlaster card to a friend, I cannot use it for the CD-ROM interface. Therefore, I need either: * A wavetable 16-bit sound card WITH SoundBlaster compatible CD-ROM interface, OR * A wavetable 16-bit sound card plus a "CD-ROM only" card for the Panasonic CD-ROM Either way, my set up has to be compatible with DOS, Windows, OS/2 (not necessary, but nice to have) and Linux. Can anyone recommend the product(s) I should get to satisfy my needs?
