First of all, thanks to all who posted/mailed in response to my original
question: "What cdrom drives will work with a Sound Blaster Pro?"

Here is a quick summary of the replies...
	SB Pro will drive Panasonic/Matushita, Creative Labs drives
	SB 16 MCD does the above PLUS Mitsumi and some Sony drives
	SB Pro will handle any cdrom drive's audio signal

Here is a more complete list of facts...

Panasonic (aka Matushita):
	all SHOULD work; the following are known specifically to run:
	521 (? not sure of this number), 562b, 563
Creative Labs:
	all their drives SHOULD work  
	(note:  the box doesn't state you need windoze, but you do)
Reveal:
	their CDD02 is a Panasonic 563
	the box states explicitly which interfaces will work
Mitsumi:
	FX-001D will work with an SB 16 MCD ($160+/-) but *not* SB Pro
	(it works fine with Linux, too, with a bus interface)
	less than $200 for the drive
	works fine using a bus interface and the SB Pro doing the audio
	SB 16 MCD will also drive some Sony drives
