Subject: Help purchasing CD-R

Our university is looking at buying a CR-R machine, at this stage either the
Sony CDW-900 (running the Sony multimedia software for the Mac), or the Philips
CDD 521 (running MacOnCD).

We hope burn CDs for a variety of uses :including multimedia and Photo-CDs
(when the software becomes available).

We are also looking at running the CD-R off an InfoServer.

Any advice on the best machine, pitfalls to watch out for, or on using a CD-R
via an InfoServer, would be great.
