Or, to get the pinout for the audio in connector on the soundcard, try this:

With the computer switched on, turn up the volume and touch each pin in turn.
You will probably need to use a pin or something, don't let go of it. :)
You should hear a buzz from one of the speakers when you touch the signal pin.
