I have to admit that I see the reason for licencing but I do not approve.

For most programs I can understand the licencing argument that 
people may keep copies of the program, as they have the space 
available on their hard disc, but for a CD!!

The nature of CDs is that they have a far greater capacity than the 
average hard disc and as such the software is not copyable. I could 
destroy the other licensing arguments in the same way but it's not 
worth the hassle.

When I have developed CD-roms I have worked on the basis that the 
CD-Rom was a book retaining my copyright but nothing else. At least 
if the user does not like it he can sell it and might buy my next title. If 
he cannot your name would be MUD (rightfully so) and he won't buy 
anymore of your titles.

Perhaps this is why I cannot raise the finance for my next title.
