The Library is on the first floor  on the other side of the stairs from the
kitchen.  It is to the right as you are approaching the stairs.  The
library book is on the table as you enter the room.  Warning the third time
you use it it solves the puzzle and you don't get certain clues to solve
the entire game.
I have a solution file to most puzzles if you are interested but it is more
fun trying to solve the puzzles alone!
