Summary: We are having problems getting anything to work with NEC 3XP
Keywords: NEC 3XP, Problems with drivers, MAC, Triple-speed,

I posted the following message on comp.sys.mac.hardware. Then I read all
the horror stories about NEC. I also had some trouble with them. . . they
could not sell me drivers. I originally purchased drive from USAFLEX, who
also sold me a driver from NEC. This driver may or may not work.

The company ClubMac told me that they distribute a proprietary driver
called Charismac (sp?) NUBUS. They couldn't sell it to me, however.
We are interested in locating that, or in anyone who is successfully using
NEC 3XP or 3Xi or any triple-speed NEC drive on Mac.

Help,
Tony Skjellum
