Lines: 22 IT>Hi, I have just purchased a CD-ROM Drive (Panasonic 562-B), and I IT>am using some windows shareware to play CD. But although I have IT>connect the audio output of my drive to the sound board (a Sound IT>Blaster compatible card), the music come out of the phones jack of IT>the drive only. Can I play it thru my sound card?? IT>Thanks a lot. First of all...ARE YOU SURE YOU HAVE THE CORRECT AUDIO CABLE CONNECTED??? THere are many different kinds of audio cables that are for many different kinds of CD drives...Also...Personally I feel that you should test your CD's and at first try to listen to them through MEDIA PLAYER..Se if that works. This is also very important....You have ot have this ddriver for it to work correctly...Under Drivers in COntrol Panel...Do you have CD AUDIO installed...If not...Install it from the Windows disks I think...What kind of Sound Board is it and is it a supported adapter for your CD drive? These are basic things you could try. KESCO BBS - Wantagh, N.Y. - (516) 679-0023
