I've also been having MYST problems and was finally able to get through to Broderbund through their Fax service. My calls to the BBS were generally not answered. When I did get through, it wasn't much help. Broderbund did eventually respond to a fax I sent them. They sent me me a six page, single spaced letter with detailed suggestions. I have been promising people that I would post any response they made to me in this conference and will do so as soon as I have a chance to digest their letter to me. Their letter, in a nutshell, says to try the following in order: (1) Get the latest drivers for everything. This corrects "95%" of all problems. (2) Create a boot disk; this might do the trick. (3) Set up a second "clean" windows environment on your hard disk and try to run it there. Because this letter is so complicated, I think it best if I simply post it here "in-toto" rather than summarize it. None of the three suggestions are very simple to implement, especially numbers 2 and 3. Please be patient; it may take me a few days, but I will reprint the letter here. For those of you who cannot wait, send them a fax at 415-382-4419. They were pretty quick in responding to me via fax. Again, I have had MANY responses from people offering suggestions and I really appreciate it. * SLMR 2.1a *
