Thanks for the info. I tried a few things out. I've been having a real
problem trying to get this game working.

U >To all MYST players who are having problems w/ their game,
It involves Booting from a floppy diskette and changing your Config.sys
and Autoexec.bat

Instead of booting from a floppy disk, I added another configuration to my
multi-config.

I had 2.6 meg XMS memory after the process you described.

Yep, I did this too. I was able to get up to an 11 meg permanent swap file
using 32 bit address. Unfortunately, the game still freezes after about 5
minutes of game play.

I'm running a 486SLC250 with 4 megs ram, vesa local bus, cirrus 5428
windows accelerator with 1 meg, sound blaster pro 2.0, and a panasonic
internal 562-b double speed cdrom drive.

From what I've seen and heard so far MYST is supposed to be a great game.

I purchased the game at the beginning of April and I'm still trying to get
it to work. I spoke with Broderbund's technical support and I was told to
get the most up-to-date device drivers for everything in my system. I only
bought the system 3 months ago.

I really wish Broderbund had indicated on the packaging the real
requirements for this game. I have literally spent days trying to get this
game working.

Anyway, I was very excited about the information that you posted. I'm
lucky that I have a modem and access to a really good board to get this
type of information. A little bit more patience and I should be able to
get it working.

Thanks,

Andrew Cooper
