Having my system set up the OTHER way nearly drove me to tears. IRQ problems and software incompatibility problems and much, much grief. After I enabled the game port on my SoundBlaster card and disabled the one on my quite expensive IO card...all my troubles vanished like the wind. Something to think about. Tinker
