I am afraid, but the game only uses standard vga resolution with 320x200
pixels and 256 colors. Furthermore some animations are compressed and have
a grainy look. There is nothing you can do about it, because it's a
technological limitation. A standard PC with CD-ROM cannot cope with more
data than is generated in this mode. You would have to you use a hardware
extension to show animation from CD-ROM with better resolution (e.g.
the REEL MAGIC card to display MPEG movies, and I heard that LucasArts plans
to implement a version of Rebel Assault for this card! There you will have
VHS - quality animations and maybe better sound quality too)

Nonetheless I really like the game!! It's great to forget about the
troubles of life :-) They really made the best out of the existing technology
