Didn't OPTI-NET require special drivers on every CLIENT as well
as the server (above and beyond the netware drivers)?

I vaguely recall that at a previous job, the netware server adminstrator
was using SCSI express in preferance to all other NLM drivers.
The drivers for the CD-ROMs allowed netware clients to use the
CD-ROMS via the network with no change of client software.

Of course, I think this is all silly since Unix has had
peer to peer netowrking for years, so ANY of the machines
may export the CD-ROM.
