I can't be bloody bothered to remember). Alternatively, you can take my word for it that you CDROM is NOT double speed if : i) at boot up, the driver does not identify it as FX001D (the only double speed CDROM that Mitsumi has) ii) the CDROM opens up with a snap and gapes at you (i.e. it's like the jaws of an animal) iii) I'm not too sure 'bout this, but Mitsumi only started to manufacture dbl-speed CDROM drives early this year, so if it's manufactured before 1994, it's not dbl-speed. And another thing, if I'm not mistaken, if it's labelled CRMC, then it's the Mitsumi LU005S, a single-speed, multisession, rather good access time CDROM drive (but then, the box which contained the FX001D also had CRMC written on it somewhere...can somebody clear this up?).
