I need assistance getting a Phillips LM 130 to work under DOS with an Adaptec
 1542B SCSI Interface card.

For some reason the Adaptec Driver reports there are no SCSI devices on the
BUS even though the install program from Adaptec quite happily reports the CD
ROM is of type LM 130 when I install the drivers.

Although this will not work under DOS, CD and Interface work quite OK with
Linux. This leads me to believe that the problem here is with the Adaptec
driver only, not any real incompatibilities between interface and CD.

There may be other non-Adaptec drivers that will work quite happily with this
hardware, but I have no idea where I could find them.

Any help or suggestions here would be most welcome.

 Thank you in advance,
				 Steve Smith ....
