Hi,  I am new to this news group and I am hopeful of getting some first 
hand advice from users.

A multimedia bundle I am looking into buying contains a Sony CDU 31A CD 
drive.  I have seen some conflicting ads on it.  For instances one ad I saw 
said it was a 2 speed drive and another ad has it as a single speed. 

I would appreciate any information, positive or negatives that anyone has 
to offer with regard to performance, etc.
