|I have the Software Toolworks encyclopedia which came with my
|SoundBlaster CD (what a piece of junk), and Encarta.  I like Encarta, but
|my 11 year old finds the language too challenging for most reports, and
|it's way out of reach for my 8 year old.

If you mean Groliers MPC v6.0 (originally called Software Toolworks),
then you have about the best their is for mid-age children and adults.
My 12 and 9 year olds use this encyclopedia extensively.
