Hi, Does anyone know if I can use my micropolis 2217 AV harddisk as the 'master' disk for a CD-R recorder (philips) (I want to record a CD with the data from the 2217 AV) I've got the technical documentation; but I cannot find anywhere if this disk has a continuous data-stream without being interupted by some sort of calibration. It's my understanding that if the disk calibrates then the data-stream to the recorder stops for a few nano/micro/.. seconds and the CD-R will be corrupted. Correct? If anyone knows the answer or can give me an address of someone who knows (Email address of Micropolis); Please respond to me directly; I'll send the correct answer to the lists. PS. I'm not subscribed to CDROM-L; so I'll miss all answers send to that list """ -(o o)- ------------------------------oOO--(_)--OOo------------------------ | Danny Engelman (picture in gopher at GOPHER.CETIS.HUT.NL) | | ............................................................... | | Cetis, | | Centre for Educational Technology, Innovation and Stafftraining | | at the 'Hogeschool Utrecht' University for Vocational Education | | ............................................................... | | internet : dengelman@cetis.hut.nl po-box 573 | | fax : (+31) (0)30-368180 3500 AN Utrecht | | phone : (+31) (0)30-308117 The Netherlands (europe) | -------------------------------------------------------------------
