It is an inexpensive double speed (approx $170,) What I am wondering is if there are any better drives out there for the same price. Has anyone had any problems with Philips. Should I have gotten the Mitsumi or the Sony 33a?---Help since I can't seem to find any articles on either drive. I just don't want the 30 days return policy to pass and then find out I purchased a lemon. Thank you very much for your time.... p.s. My biggest problem seems to be with periodic game lock ups- but I think I can attribute it to port address/Irq conflicts.
