I have a NEC 3xp hooked up to my Mac, and all the filenames on the DOS CD-ROM have a ";1" appended to them, i.e. SETUP.EXE;1. I've tried both the NEC drivers and CorelSCSI drivers and they both have this problem. I tried to access the Mac CD-ROM drive over a network with a PC running PhoneNet. The PC could mount the Mac CD-ROM drive fine, but all the filenames have been renamed because PhoneNet thinks the ";1" extensions are non-standard MS-DOS filenames. My question is: are there any CD-ROM drivers that will not put ";1" on the DOS filenames? Or is there any network software that will not rename the DOS filenames into some weird standard? -- Cheong Yu | | (513) 865-7048 Mead Data Central | | Fax: (513) 865-1755 P.O.
