If this is the drive I got I would warn you off it in a big way. I got the Compudyne CD-ROM (believe the brand was called AZTECH) double speed. After a week of frustration I took it back. The service person said they were getting an awful lot of returns on the drive. And as I was getting my Creative Labs CD-ROM I noticed them taking the rest into the back room! In my opinion the Compudyne CDROM is complete crap, and the telephone support was worthless. I quote the guy on the other end "There's something wrong with your system...". Yeah thanks a lot dude. BTW, the Creative Labs one works flawlessly with everything I've tried so far (Myst, 7th-Guest, MegaRace, Photostyler, etc.) Sometimes it's worth it to pay a little more for better quality. Also, I think the Creative Labs is a Panasonic but I'm not sure (not in front of my PC at the moment). Hope this Helps, Eric
