  The best collection of literature I have seen on CD-ROM is the Library
of the Future 3rd ed. which contains 1750 complete books including the
complete works of Shakespeare. It has a fairly nice Windows interface which
makes reading on line fairly comfortable. The search software is good. I
don't have the price handy but it was very reasonable for 1750 books. A
bargain, as a matter of fact. You can get more info from them at:
