Use the drivers that came with the products and go for the defaults. That should work. If you get the CD working and you have sound from the CD but not AUDIO then you'll have to work on the audio cable (the little 4 wire cable that connects from the CD to the SB). My wire configuration from the CD was backwards when the 1-way connector clicked into the SB. Take the wires out and switch the order ... that should do it. Make sure you number your wires first with a little tape. Ex: CD Configuration = 1 2 3 4 SB Configuration = 4 3 2 1 Switch the SB connector wires to 1 2 3 4. Follow the Mitsumi book on setting the buffers. That'll help with the speed a little. Follow the SoundBlaster book for step-by-step installation ... that'll keep you from going nuts. Good Luck!
