Hello,

I have a summer job at a company that is planning among other things, to 
setup a CD manufaturing plant. I have been assigned to gather some market
data for a business report on the project. 

I hope some of the CD guru's in this group can help me out or point to
some source of information. I have looked at the FAQ (although it was
a year ago).

Note: We plan to produce CD's of the same media of CD-Audio and CDROM,
      not necessarly MO or WORM type.

* What type of equipment is needed to manufacture CD's? What is the approximate
  cost of the equipmement?

* Where are most of the CD's manufacutured today? USA ? Asian Tiger country?

* Who are some of the prominent producers of blank CD's? Any info on how to
  contact them would help also.

* Any data on the growth of the CD market (CDROM and/or CD-Audio) would
  help. Also any journals/ftp-sites/WWW/books references on CD's would help.

Please e-mail me, and if there is enough demand I will compile a list of
the responses.
