I managed to download the rebel17.zip from a ftp site but was not able to
pkunzip it.

I use binary transmission to download it using ftp. and kermit using binary
mode to transmit the file to my PC.  The file was transferred OK but when I
tried using pkunzip to "unzip" it, I got the error message about not knowing how
to handle a list of files.

Only README.BAT in the zip file was successfully unzipped.

Any idea?

I use Windows Terminal to transfer the file into my PC and yes I did use
binary transmission.
