One of the problems that we are encountering is the lack of conventional memory and the fact that one of our CD ROM products requires a minimum of 530K conventional memory. With all the network drivers, keyboard drivers, and Windows loaded into memory, we are left with 487K left (upper memory is fully used). There is nothing that we can get rid of because all the TSR's are required for our environment. I have tried using some TSR utilities, and Memory utilities but they do not work properly. (I don't know if it is because we are using DOS 6 or because of the PC's we are running them on which are 486's and most of the utilities are before the age of 486's. I think it is a combination of both) Our users have DELL 486sx and DEC 486sx with 16 Megs of RAM and 1Meg video RAM. I have tried some utilities that utilize the video RAM, but it crashes our PC's. Does anyone have any magical software that will solve my Memory problems? Rob Sekerak Information Technology Services National Library Of Canada Mail: Rob.Sekerak@its.nlc-bnc.ca
