When we tried installing the Sony single-speed drive on a 386 machine, we
could not get the computer to recognize the cd-rom drive. The sound card
tested alright, but no d: drive. Is DoubleSpace from DOS 6.0 the
problem? If so, is there a way to delete DoubleSpace without damaging
files on the hard drive? Or should we just delete everything and start
anew? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
