As a newcomer to CDROM-L, I was a bit dismayed to find 110 posts after but one
day. This is the first time that I've encountered advert's on the net. If the
number are normal, I for one would look forward to some way to separate the
<for sale> posts from the technical. Space on my system is at a premium, I'm
not likely to buy from these posts and del 50 posts a day is a pain in the __.
An <alt.> seems like a good way for the folks that want to sell something
reaching their target audience while saving those of us who do not a lot of
bother. That of course is just IMHO :-)
